Our Board of Directors
Leading with Heart
ForEverly Changed is guided by a passionate and dedicated Board of Directors, each bringing unique experiences and a shared commitment to supporting families who have experienced the profound loss of an infant. Their leadership ensures that our mission of providing financial assistance and comfort is carried out with compassion and care.
Jenny Rogers
Founder and President
As the Founder of ForEverly Changed, Jenny Rogers’s vision and personal journey are at the heart of the organization. “Starting a non-profit in memory of Everly has been on my heart since 2018,” Jenny shares. “I wasn’t sure what it would look like, but I knew God would guide me in the right direction.” Since losing Everly, Jenny has been deeply involved in the loss mom community, bringing a wealth of understanding and empathy to everything ForEverly Changed does.
Jenny holds the title of Loss Mom/Founder and serves as a steady, compassionate presence for grieving families. She is also Hal’s wife and the loving mother of Everly and Zoe. Their family lives in Ropesville, just outside of Lubbock, with their cat, Lucy.
Her faith continues to shape the vision for ForEverly Changed, and she looks forward to how God will continue to lead the organization in offering hope and healing to families enduring the unimaginable pain of infant loss. Jenny’s personal experience fuels her deep commitment to providing meaningful support to this community.

Heather DeVore
Board Member
Heather DeVore brings a wealth of professional experience and a deep personal connection to the mission of ForEverly Changed. Currently residing in Idalou, TX, with her husband and two adult children, Heather worked as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal ICU for over nine years. During her time in the NICU, she provided compassionate, family-centered care to countless infants and their families.
“My favorite part of working with families in the NICU has always been teaching families and helping parents to recover some of the loss of control they may feel having an infant in the hospital,” Heather explains. Each baby she cared for left a lasting impact on her heart. Notably, Heather was the admitting nurse when Everly Jade was born and thoughtfully delivered a tongue depressor with Everly’s tiny footprints to Jenny, a gesture that spoke volumes about the precious life. Heather feels honored to continue serving West Texas families through ForEverly Changed, helping to relieve some of the immense burden associated with infant loss.

Maria Riojas
Board Member
Maria Riojas, a Lubbock native now residing in Andrews, TX, brings a unique perspective shaped by her own experience as a NICU parent. As a preschool teacher, Maria lives with her husband, Armando, and their daughter Scarlett, who was a micro-preemie with a lengthy stay in the NICU.
During their time in the NICU, Maria and her family connected with Jenny and Everly, who were their neighbors within the unit. While their journeys had different outcomes, Maria and Jenny forged a bond of understanding and have supported each other through their motherhood experiences. Maria is deeply honored to be a part of ForEverly Changed, seeing it as an opportunity to continue sharing Everly’s story and legacy by serving fellow NICU families. Her firsthand understanding of the challenges faced by NICU families makes her an invaluable asset in providing meaningful infant loss support.
A United Commitment to Compassionate Support
Together, our Board of Directors is committed to guiding ForEverly Changed with compassion, experience, and a shared vision of providing comfort and support to families navigating the devastating reality of infant loss in West Texas.
